Silly me…forgot to create a thread for people to post improvements to. Better late than never :)
I have put together 2 Excel templates for type collecting for Cuba Republic, Pre-1962 and for U.S. Administration period for the Philippines. I have completed type sets for both and am willing to upload the templates for others to use. Let me know if interested.
Mike
Thanks Mike, additions are always welcome. I created the following page so you can upload the two files http://typesets.wikidot.com/cuba simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Files" link and that should allow you to upload the files.
Hey Ken, I don't see the Philippines listed. I can resend if it got lost. Now that I have retired I have more time to spend on my type sets.
So far I have completed United States, Cuba, Mexico, European Union, Ireland, South Korea, and Philippines. Plus a few other specialized themes.
Mexico Bronze 20 Centavos, World 50 Centavos and Silver Bullion.
If you have time, I would like to invite you to check out my website: (I can't add link to this email for some reason)
I have created digital (virtual) albums for my collections. Links are on the site to view the albums. You have my permission to add it the website link to your resource page if you think others might enjoy it also. I also have the albums in PDF form if you would like to add them to the site in that format.
Thanks and have a great day.

Hi Mike,
Good to hear from you. We already had the Philippines list under the U.S. Coin Collection as at that time they were part of the U.S. as a commonwealth. I did just check the page link and it no longer works and not sure why. I still have your original list and will just add it in.
Wow you have been one incredibly busy collector:). Would love to see the World 50 Centavo collection and I'm sure that silver bullion collection must be one dang good looking set too.
I would absolutely add your link to the site! You should be able to just cut and past the address in the post here and not sure what happened.
Ken
nope, this is the error message I get:
The data you have submitted contains following errors:
Guests and low-karma users are not allowed to publish links on this site.
I'll give it to you this way: digitalcoinalbumsDOTcom

First, Awesome website & photos! That is one of if not the best digital displays of a collection that I have seen, absolutely beautiful. I added your link under two sections; coin photos and personal blog.
I did find out the restriction for adding a link was not due to security settings by this site but the host. Apparently to reduce spam a global restriction was placed on all wikidot sites and I cannot override. Not too thrilled with this as I as a site admin should have some ability to turn this feature on or off.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed. The albums were set up in "flip book" format, but for some reason issuu is not presenting that way. Might be a temporary glitch. I had them available in Flipbuilder but could not justify the $10 monthly charge to maintain them on the cloud.
Doing the albums in digital format allows me to customize the presentation. It also allows me to add to or update at any time. Plus I don't have to remove coins from a slab to "place" in the album. I can add anyone's coin photos to the template to create their own custom album. An idea I had if I ever wanted to market the digital albums. Imagine, you can carry your coin album/collection on you phone.
Thanks for adding the link to the site. If I can contribute in any way in the future just let me know.
Mike
